Is Felofey Genuine? Five Checks for Any Small Online Shop, Starting With Us

If you searched Is Felofey genuine? before ordering, good. That is exactly what anyone should do before paying a shop they have never heard of, and we would rather answer it properly than hope you do not ask.

The short answer is yes. Felofey is a small handmade gifting brand in Delhi, run by two people. The longer answer is below, set out as five checks you can run yourself. They work on us, and they work on any other small online shop.

Check 1: Is there a real address and a phone number that someone answers?

A shop that only offers a contact form is asking you to trust it without giving you anything to hold. Look for a street address, a phone number and an email, and try at least one of them before a first order.

Ours are listed above, at the bottom of every page, and on the contact page. Message the WhatsApp number with a question about a product. You will get a reply from one of the two of us, because there is nobody else here.

Check 2: Does the shop exist anywhere other than its own website?

Anyone can build a website in an afternoon. It is harder to fake a presence in several places over time. Felofey has a Google Business Profile with the same address and phone number as this site, and you will also find us on Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Facebook.

One thing to know: our Instagram handle is @felofeyy, with two Ys at the end. Everywhere else it is Felofey with one.

Check 3: Is the price on the page the price you pay?

A common trick is a low product price followed by shipping, packing and handling fees on the last screen. At Felofey, delivery and gift packing are included in the price shown on the product page. Nothing is added at checkout, anywhere in India.

Two things we do not offer, so you are not surprised:

• Cash on Delivery. Orders are prepaid. Most of what we make is made for a specific order, and a refused COD parcel means hours of handwork with nowhere to go.
• International shipping. We deliver within India only.

The usual way to pay is UPI, from any UPI app. On a phone the amount opens pre-filled in your app; on a laptop you scan a QR code. You then enter the UPI reference number so we can match the payment to your order, which can take a few hours because a person does the matching. You get a confirmation email once it is done.

Check 4: Is the returns policy written down, and is it specific?

A vague line such as "easy returns" protects nobody. Read the actual policy and see whether it says what happens when something goes wrong. Ours is on the Returns & Refunds page, and in plain terms it says:

• If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we replace it or refund it once we have verified it.
• Keep the packaging, and take photos. An unboxing video settles a transit-damage claim fastest.
• Customised and personalised pieces cannot be returned for a change of mind, because they were made for you and cannot be sold to anyone else.
• Small differences in colour, stitching and shape are how handmade work looks. They are not treated as defects.

That is stricter than a large marketplace, and we would rather you knew it before ordering than after.

Check 5: Can you follow your order after you pay?

Once an order is placed you should not have to chase anyone to find out where it is. Every Felofey order has its own status page, and you can look it up any time on the track order page. Standard delivery is 2 to 5 working days through our courier partners. Festivals, weather and remote PIN codes can add to that, and the shipping policy says so.

What about reviews?

We started in 2025, so you will not find thousands of reviews of Felofey yet. The ones we have are on our homepage. If you have ordered from us, you can write a review, and it helps the next person who is asking the question you just asked.

Why search engines sometimes change the spelling

Felofey is a made-up word. Because it is new and close to a common English word, a search engine may offer a different spelling or show results for something else. If that happens, search for felofey.com or Felofey handmade gifts Delhi, or type felofey.com straight into the address bar.
