Meet Felofey: Two Friends, a Delhi Workshop and a Lot of Yarn

If you have landed here after typing Felofey into a search box and wondering whether it is a real shop run by real people — yes. We are two of them, and this is the short version of who we are.

What Felofey is

Felofey is a handmade gifting brand based in Uttam Nagar, Delhi. We make crochet keychains, bookmarks, coasters, hair accessories, lip balm holders and home decor, along with decorative candles and crochet flower bouquets you can build stem by stem. Everything is made by hand, and delivery across India is included in the price you see.

The name is pronounced fe-lo-fey. It is a made-up word, which is why search engines sometimes try to correct it to something else. There is no deeper story — we liked how it sounded.

Who makes your order

Felofey was started in 2025 by Purva and Priyansh. There is no factory behind this. We design the products, we crochet and pour them, and we pack the boxes. When your parcel arrives, it was handled by the same two people who made what is inside it.

That is also the honest reason some things take a few days longer than a marketplace would. A crochet keychain is a few hours of someone's actual afternoon.

Why we started

The idea Felofey is built on is a simple one: gifts do not have to be expensive to be meaningful. Most of what we make sits between ₹149 and ₹649, because we wanted the thing you give a friend on an ordinary Tuesday to be as considered as the thing you give on an anniversary.

A ₹200 crochet keychain that someone made by hand says something a ₹2,000 gift card does not.

Why crochet

Crochet cannot be made by machine. Knitting machines have existed since 1589, but crochet works one loop at a time, each stitch pulled through the last by a single hook, and nobody has mechanised that sequence. If something is genuinely crocheted, a person made it — which made it the right craft for what we wanted to do. We wrote about that at length in what crochet actually is.
